It sounds as if it would help the littles grasp what to expect for the day. It's basically just a time to sit down together & read some stories, have devotions if you're so inclined, and let the kid(s) know what to expect that day. We started calling it circle time because we're very loosely using a waldorf curriculum for preschool, so that's what they call it AND when the girls were toddlers we did a couple years of "My Gym" (kind of like Gymboree) and THEY did circle time so it was a concept they understood.

And yes, the fried rice recipe can be endlessly tweaked :)Sweetpeashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05688283236426618677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8793572361513833353.post-52724773602233904942008-04-02T00:43:00.000-04:002008-04-02T00:43:00.000-04:00Since I only have one that is homeschooling right ...Since I only have one that is homeschooling right now, it's a little hard to make a circle...LOL! 8)

LOVE the fried rice recipe!! We would probably use green onion (instead of regular) and I regularly use a liquid seasoning called "Maggi" instead of soy sauce. Gonna have to give it a try!

Thanks for sharing!! : )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8793572361513833353.post-59161102468458659642008-04-02T00:29:00.000-04:002008-04-02T00:29:00.000-04:00I like your idea for circle time. (just kidding...they know their schedule pretty well!)

I may have to try it with them, though, to see how they like it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
