The evening of our day at Pictured Rocks we went on a boat ride to see the rock cliffs. We'd been scheduled for earlier in the day but they cancelled that one because the water was too rough. They warned us this one might be rough too but it was lovely. Cold, but gorgeous!
I didn't keep track of the names of the various rocks so will just share the pictures here.
Lake Superior is huge, looking away from shore, there is nothing but water!
As we came back into port the captain pointed out a little lighthouse on an island.
We all fell in love with this area and would love to come back and spend more time. The boat captain said they generally get over 200 inches of snow per winter so not sure I'd want to live there year round lol.
