So many things to be thankful for . . . one thing I'm really appreciating this week, A has decided (for the last several days) to be my self-appointed "helper girl" she's anxious to help, not only with whatever chore I'm doing, but even other things that she notices that need doing (like gathering up the recycling that was taking over the area at the top of the basement stairs). While, I'm always thankful for help, I'm even more thankful that it's all of her own initiative, I'm thankful to see my dd learning the joy of service!Tuesday, August 5, 2008

It is a wonderful thing to see a natural development. Service, is of course something that can be taught, but it is so much more fulfilling when it is just part of your very being.
